The Foreman of Carpentry is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the carpentry work involved in interior design projects. This role combines expertise in interior carpentry with leadership skills to ensure the successful execution of carpentry tasks, such as custom furniture, cabinetry, moldings, and decorative woodwork. The foreman leads the carpentry team, ensuring that projects meet design specifications, are completed on schedule, and comply with the highest standards of craftsmanship.

Key Responsibilities :

• Supervision of Carpentry Team :
• Lead, supervise, and manage a team of carpenters working on interior design projects.
• Assign daily tasks and delegate responsibilities based on project requirements and timelines.
• Provide on-the-job training and mentorship for carpenters, ensuring adherence to quality standards.
• Monitor the team's performance, providing feedback and ensuring efficient work practices.
• Project Coordination and Execution :
• Review project plans and blueprints to understand design requirements and ensure proper execution.
• Coordinate with project managers, interior designers, and other contractors to ensure smooth workflow.
• Oversee carpentry tasks such as the installation of cabinetry, custom furniture, trim, moldings, doors, and other wood elements specific to interior design.
• Ensure that all work aligns with the aesthetic and functional goals of the design.
• Quality Control :
• Ensure that all carpentry work meets design specifications, quality standards, and building codes.
• Inspect the work regularly to ensure it is completed to the highest standard and within the required time frame.
• Address any issues or discrepancies in the carpentry work and resolve them promptly.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED3,000.00 per month
