About the Opportunity The Supply Forecasting department plays an important role in the Supply Chain department, ensuring and providing the information on the volumes expected on a weekly base by berry, grower, variety and treatment with a short and mid-term scope. With this data, the business will be enabled to make the best business decisions to support our strategy according to Driscoll's Mission and Vision.
The position of the Junior Forecast Specialist will play an important role in collecting and analyzing data from the fields, making accurate predictions of short and mid-term scope, to do this well, the person will stay in contact with growers and internal stakeholders and will support the Forecast Specialist on daily tasks.
Responsibilities This position will focus on the field forecast by making field visits to collect production data from the crops to project accurate volumes for the business. Support on weekly analysis of the crop development and weather impact will be used to accurately predict the production volume of each crop in the region in the short and medium term. Update of the reference database of the productive area of the current season, pre-season projections and platform tool used for the short-term forecast process. Close connection with the growers, team members and other regional teams (Regional Operations, Schedule and Planning).

JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Education & training
Agriculture related studies. High knowledge of Microsoft programs (Word, advanced Excel, PowerPoint) is required. Knowledge of statistic data analyses. Creative and innovative
Experience
Working experience (0-2 years) in horticulture crops and data analysis.
