With offices in Dubai and Amsterdam, they are committed to delivering outstanding F&B strategies, concepts, and designs while fostering continuous learning and development for our employees.Position Overview: We are looking for a Mid/Senior Foodservice and Laundry Designer to join their design team, focusing on operational designs and strategies for back-of-house (BOH) operations. This role involves developing the operational and technical requirements for commercial-grade facilities, including kitchens, laundries, service areas, and organic waste management. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for foodservice design, a keen understanding of industry trends, and the ability to transform client needs into compelling design solutions.Responsibilities:
Lead the development of design concepts in Revit, creating advanced commercial kitchen and laundry designs for high-end hospitality projects such as luxury hotels, premium resorts, and upscale restaurants.
Formulate and implement operational design strategies that align with the branding and operational goals of high-profile clients, ensuring functionality and aesthetic appeal.
Conduct thorough reviews and approvals of shop drawings and transmittals, ensuring design integrity and compliance with industry standards and client specifications.
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing high-level coordination, technical support, and consultation. Lead client meetings, manage budgets, and document minutes to ensure alignment and satisfaction.
Develop and oversee equipment schedules and MEP drawings, ensuring seamless integration of systems.
Specify equipment and review material submittals to ensure compliance with project requirements and quality standards.
Report on project status, progress, and any issues to senior management, developing and implementing strategies to ensure timely delivery and successful completion.
Utilize advanced skills in Revit to enhance designs, applying technical expertise and creativity for exceptional outcomes.
Qualifications:
Bachelor\'s degree in Architecture or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
Extensive experience in foodservice design, with a robust portfolio showcasing leadership in innovative and high-profile projects.
Expert-level proficiency in AutoCAD, Bluebeam, Revit, and other relevant design software.
Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to quality and craftsmanship in design and execution.
Proven ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously, with strong prioritization and deadline management skills.
Superior professional English communication skills, with experience in high-level client interactions and presentations.
Significant experience working in the UAE market, with a deep understanding of local standards, regulations, and industry practices.
Must-Haves:
At least 2 years of experience using Revit.
A minimum of 3 years of experience in commercial kitchen design.
