Requirements:



Male Nationality: Jordan & Sudan (Preferred) At least 5 years' experience in food products. Languages: English & Arabic (Mandatory) HACCP warehouse certification or demonstrable knowledge and experience in HACCP principles. Strong knowledge of GSO standards for food products and regulations. Proven experience with physical, biological, and chemical testing for food products.

Job Overview:



The Food Safety & Quality Supervisor is responsible for ensuring timely and effective implementation of all company policies, procedures, and activities involved in assuring the quality of products. He maintains close working relationships with other department managers and supervisory personnel in order to meet and maintain product quality, identify, solve, and prevent problems affecting product quality, and comply with regulatory requirements.

Food Safety and Quality Supervisor Job Responsibilities:



Analyze possible reasons for product defects and quality lapses. Analyze possible reasons for process deviations that can affect the overall quality of processes and products. Develop standard operating procedures (SOPs) that align with regulatory requirements, industry guidelines and the organization's policies. Establish SOPs and conditions for handling and storage of the products at the warehouse. Implement plans and strategies to support the provision of safe food products. Conduct internal audits and inspect facilities, equipment, and products to ensure that everything complies with regulatory requirements. Lead quality and food safety-related audits. Lead traceability investigations on the source of quality lapses and other product issues. Oversee corrective and preventative actions (CAPA) implementation and documentation with other departments. Notify department of CAPA requirement and are responsible for the completion and documentation of the CAPA. Participate in quality management system reviews and promote quality and food safety policies to all personnel. Provide in house training to all staff personal at warehouse regarding personal hygiene and practices, handling of different food products, Health and safety at workplace. Conducting yearly management review meetings. Review reports and develop guidelines and standard practices for data documentation and analysis. Independently solve moderately complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff. Address quality-related issues with suppliers and take necessary steps which can eliminate the further in the probable future. Conducting Supplier evaluation and supplier audits and file-keeping all the relevant documents from the suppliers in line with supplier evaluation. Compute the nutritional facts of the products based on Daily Value (DV) to get the required Percentage Daily Value (%DV). Providing assistance and guidance for market return products for quality checks before returning the products to stock inventory. Conducting various quality analysis for the products. Comparing the quality of the products with other substantial competitors in order to analyze any existing gap and further to improve the quality with mutual collaboration with the supplier. Inspecting and verifying the expired items based on the inventory made by warehouse personel.
