Duties & responsibilities:
• Doing necessary prep for the shift operation, placing orders, and checking inventory, based on daily sales and available stock in hand.
• Check if all material supplies are available, to serve all menu items, packaging materials.
• Check all the items have production/expiry dates.
• Check all the chiller and freezers' temperatures and mark them on the sheet.
• Check all the kitchen equipment is in working order, and report any repair maintenance if required
• Make sure to practice FIFO (first in first out). Check the items near expiry and report them to the Shift leader
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of your prep table and working station
• Managing inventory and placing orders for supplies as needed.
• Assis shift leader as and when needed
• Check all the bowls, plates, and cutlery you are using are well-cleaned and unchipped
• Follow the weekly and daily deep cleaning schedule.
• Follow daily shift opening and closing checklist
• Conduct daily and monthly inventories accurately and maintain a record
• Managing food safety and sanitation practices in the kitchen.
• Ensure that all food and beverage items are stored at appropriate temperature
• Ensure that no food is served without KOT / Docket.
• Ensure that kitchen printer has thermal roll and it's well cleaned
• Ensure Hygiene standards while handling food, using appropriate chopping board and storage in the chiller
• Working closely with other kitchen team members to ensure smooth and efficient service.
Note: Can join immediately. Preferably own visa and have EFST certificate.
