Food and Beverage Interns



Shangri-La and Traders Hotel, Qaryat al Beri, Abu Dhabi



We have a great opportunity for internships to join our Food and Beverage team. The successful applicant(s) will have a eagerness to grow within the Food and Beverage Service coupled with a passion for learning. The intern(s) will assist in the daily operation of the hotel outlets (e.g. Sofra bld Restaurant, Afya Restaurant, Shang Palace Restaurant, Bord Eau Restaurant, Pool Bar / Amalfi)



What are we looking for?



Hardworking and willing to learn.

Passionate about Food and Beverages process, procedure, and guest engagement.

Must be able to multitask and highly adaptable.

Efficient, punctual, and presentable.

Effective communication skills with colleagues / management, multilingual and have the ability to speak either/or Arabic, French, German, Russian, or Chinese would be highly preferred.

Able to work as part of a team.

What will you do?



Work with hotel colleagues to keep excellent service standards.

Listen to colleague/ manager requests and carry out daily duties correctly and efficiently.

Perform job duties as advised by the head of the department.

Regularly maintain attendance by reporting to shift timing as advised.

Establish and maintain good communications and teamwork skills with colleagues and other departments.

Ensure to maintain the training plan effectively.
