Savoy Sharm Group is a leading hospitality company in Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt, known for its luxurious resorts and exceptional customer service. We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Food and Beverage Director to join our team and oversee all aspects of our food and beverage operations.
As the Food and Beverage Director, you will be responsible for the overall management and success of our food and beverage department. This includes developing and implementing strategies to achieve financial goals, maintaining high standards of quality and service, and ensuring guest satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement food and beverage strategies in line with the company\'s objectives and budget
Oversee the day-to-day operations of all food and beverage outlets, including restaurants, bars, and room service
Monitor and analyze financial performance, including sales, costs, and profitability, and make adjustments as needed
Create and maintain budgets, forecasts, and financial reports for the food and beverage department
Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations and food handling procedures
Train and develop team members to provide exceptional service and maintain high standards of quality
Collaborate with the Executive Chef to create innovative menus and dining experiences
Negotiate and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure the best quality and prices for food and beverage products
Conduct regular inspections of all food and beverage outlets to ensure cleanliness, organization, and compliance with standards
Resolve any guest complaints or concerns related to food and beverage services
Keep up to date with industry trends and make recommendations for improvements and enhancements to the food and beverage department
Requirements:
Bachelor\'s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a food and beverage management role in a luxury hotel or resort
Proven track record of financial management and achieving revenue and profitability targets
Strong leadership and communication skills
Excellent knowledge of food and beverage operations, including menu planning, cost control, and inventory management
Ability to train, motivate, and develop a team
Knowledge of health and safety regulations and food handling procedures
Proficient in Microsoft Office and POS systems
Fluent in English, both written and spoken. Knowledge of other languages is a plus.
