## Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Food and Beverage to lead our service team in delivering exceptional dining experiences. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in culinary arts, leadership, and hospitality management.
## Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of food and beverage operations, including menu planning, food preparation, and service delivery
- Manage and mentor kitchen staff, servers, and bartenders to ensure high-quality service standards are met
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize food costs while maintaining quality and guest satisfaction
- Coordinate catering events and collaborate with the culinary team to create innovative menus
- Monitor inventory levels and control costs through effective purchasing practices
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in the kitchen and dining areas
## Experience
- Proven experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry
- Strong culinary background with expertise in food production, menu planning, and kitchen operations
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team
- Knowledge of inventory control, cost management, and budgeting
- Experience in cash handling procedures and financial reporting
- Familiarity with catering operations in a hotel or restaurant setting would be advantageous
