Overview:

As a Sales Development Representative (SDR) specializing in Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) with a focus on bakery products, your primary responsibility is to generate and qualify leads for the bakery-specific product line. Here's a breakdown of what your job description might entail:

1. Lead Generation:

- Identify potential clients within the target market through research, cold calling, networking, and other lead generation techniques.

- Utilize various channels such as social media, industry events, trade shows, and online platforms to identify and reach out to potential customers.

2. Qualification:

- Engage with leads to understand their needs, challenges, and buying criteria.

- Qualify leads based on predetermined criteria such as budget, decision-making authority, and fit with the bakery product offerings.

3. Relationship Building:

- Establish rapport and build relationships with prospects through effective communication and follow-up strategies.

- Educate prospects about the benefits and features of bakery-specific products, addressing any concerns or objections they may have.

4. Sales Support:

- Collaborate with the sales team to schedule meetings, product demonstrations, and presentations for qualified leads.

- Provide ongoing support to the sales team by supplying them with relevant information and insights gathered from interactions with prospects.

5. Data Management:

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all interactions with leads and prospects in the CRM system.

- Analyze data and metrics to track the effectiveness of lead generation efforts and identify areas for improvement.

- Use market insights to tailor sales pitches and strategies to better meet the needs of potential customers.

Experience : Minimum of 2-3 years of relevant experience in sales, business development, or customer relationship management within the bakery supply and confectionary industry.

Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate product features, benefits, and value propositions persuasively.

Relationship Management: Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain rapport with diverse stakeholders, including customers, distributors, and internal teams.

Goal Orientation: Results-driven mindset with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a competitive environment.

Technology Proficiency: Familiarity with CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and other sales productivity tools.
