Job Summary:

The Florist Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the floral department, ensuring the highest quality of floral arrangements, exceptional customer service, and effective team management. This role involves training staff, managing inventory, coordinating production, and maintaining a creative and efficient work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervision and Leadership:

Lead, mentor, and train a team of florists and floral assistants.

Schedule staff shifts and manage day-to-day personnel issues.

Foster a positive and productive work environment.

Floral Design and Arrangement:

Create and oversee the production of floral arrangements, bouquets, and displays for various occasions (weddings, events, holidays).

Ensure all floral products meet quality standards and customer specifications.

Customer Service:

Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues.

Assist customers with selecting floral products and offer expert advice on arrangements and care.

Inventory Management:

Manage inventory levels, including ordering and receiving fresh flowers and supplies.

Monitor product quality and ensure timely rotation of stock to minimize waste.

Sales and Marketing:

Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional campaigns and seasonal displays.

Track sales performance and suggest improvements to enhance profitability.

Health and Safety Compliance:

Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in the workplace.

Maintain cleanliness and organization within the floral department.

Financial Management:

Assist in budgeting and financial reporting for the floral department.

Monitor expenses and implement cost-saving measures as needed.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; degree in floral design or related field preferred.

Proven experience in floral design and team leadership (3+ years preferred).

Strong knowledge of floral varieties, care, and arrangement techniques.

Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.

Proficient in inventory management and basic financial principles.

Working Conditions:

May require standing for long periods and lifting heavy items.

Must be available to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED5,000.00 per month
