Covent Garden, a trendy and upscale florist shop, is searching for an experienced and talented florist to join our team. As a part of our commitment to excellence in floral design, we are looking for a dedicated and creative individual who can bring a unique touch to our luxurious floral arrangements.

The florist will be responsible for designing unique and captivating floral arrangements for our boutique. This role involves working closely with clients and interpreting their floral preferences to create stunning designs that complement our boutique's aesthetic. Additionally, the florist will be responsible for sourcing and purchasing high-quality flowers, greenery, and other floral materials.

Requirements:

- Proven experience in floral design, preferably in a luxury or high-end setting.

- Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics.

- Proficiency in using various floral design techniques and tools, including wire cutters, secateurs, and arranging tools.

- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to listen to client preferences and work collaboratively with other team members.

- Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

- Knowledge of different flower varieties, their seasonality, and their availability.

- Ability to work well in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment.

- A passion for flowers and a desire to stay up-to-date with the latest trends and techniques in the industry.

Responsibilities:

- Designing and creating custom floral arrangements for weddings, events, and special occasions.

- Assisting clients in selecting flowers, colors, and arrangements that best meet their vision and budget.

- Sourcing high-quality flowers, greenery, and other floral materials from trusted suppliers.

- Maintaining a clean and organized work environment, including maintaining flower inventory and floral supplies.

- Adhering to health and safety regulations when handling flowers, chemicals, and other floral materials.

- Providing excellent customer service and ensuring client satisfaction.
