Synopsis

The Flight Facilitator is responsible to Crew Operations Supervisor for the preparation and distribution of Flight plans of Etihad Airways and partner Airlines for all crew with compliance with Etihad standards and safety regulations and security. They are responsible to updates block hours in AIMS for the finance department purposes, coordinates with Supervisor Crew Operations in order to implement the goals and objectives to ensure the continuous efficient distribution of Flight plans and apply all operational changes as agreed.

Accountabilities

Prints and distributes pre-flight documentation to Etihad Airways and partner Airlines Crew departing from Abu Dhabi 2.5 hours prior standard departure time of the aircraft. Prints and distributes flight plans for Crew transiting in Abu Dhabi.

Collection of the posts-flight documentation returned by Flight Crew every day. Send the Flight Plans storage requests to concerned party in timely manner. Record and track the missing post flight envelope and report to chief pilot within 48 hours.

Retrieve any post-flight documentation in relation to queries and requests received from Chief Pilots, Air Safety department, Finance department or any head office department in competent and timely manner.

Updating information in AIMS in order to update the correct amount of block hours for finance purposes, sorting of discretion reports and Flight dispatch feedback forms returned by Pilots and forward them to concerned department on regular basis.

Track any changes in distributed pre-flight documents as sent from Flight dispatch. Ensure the flight crew receive the last updated version. Maintain constant communication with Hub Control Centre and Duty Flight Dispatcher to record all the changes and amendments performed on Flight plans and distribute amended Flight Plans to the assigned Pilots on duty promptly.

Retrieve, store and distribute all electronic Flight Documents for all flights operating with EFB class.

Investigate and report operational discrepancies to propose corrective measures to the Supervisor Crew Operations and independently respond to internal and external departments where the involvement of the line manager is not necessary in logistic matters.

Education & Experience

High School or Aviation related degree or License related to Flight Operations.

Flight Operations background with minimum 2-4 years operations experience.
