About the RoleThe Flight Dispatch / Key Account Executive has a dual function. The primary role is to liaise as Key Account Executive and as such will report through to the Director, Commercial. On matters concerning Flight Dispatch the role will report to the Director, Flight Operations.Key Account
Act as the key interface between the customer and all relevant departments in the company.
Requires a high degree of customer service and respond timely by phone and email.
Responsibility and accountability for assigned accounts and provide day-to-day support by handling customer inquiries and issues.
Coordinate flight requests from the owner and liaise with OCC, Crew Planning and Maintenance.
Coordinate flight requests through OCC in relation to operational flights for all crew members including visa requests etc.
Coordinate maintenance schedule with the owner.
Coordinate with the Finance department on invoicing.
Proactively communicating with internal and external customers to ensure customer satisfaction.
Problem solving Initiative and resolve issues with little direction
Establishing and maintaining successful customer service relationships
Assist with charter Sales enquiries and setting up of flights.
Flight Dispatch
Manage all customer requests on early and late shifts and weekends
Coordinate all handling activities including 3rd party services through the German Operations Control Center
Dispatch all DCAF managed aircrafts according to the UAE GCAA CAR OPS, duties outlined under (but not limited to) CAR-OPS 1.080 in shift duty
Allocate all Ground Operations tasks and co-ordinate all resources through the German Operations Control center
Ensure maximum consideration is given to customer service standards at all times
Collate and distribute and crew briefings according to the GCAA Dispatch checklist
Distributes various reports to relevant departments as and when required.
Deal with all client problems on an on-going basis
Monitor flight progress (Flight watch)
Organization of all required support for aircraft and crew members through Crew Services & OCC.
Organization of required briefing packages according to general legal and company requirements in advance of schedule through the Operations Control Center
Keeping of the loop of information with crew scheduling / license control /sales & marketing and crew members about any changes in aircraft schedule
Consideration of downgraded aircraft equipment (Application of Minimum Equipment List) for the briefing package and information of the Operations Control Center in advance
