Our Client - A leading firm into Shipping Industry based in Dubai is looking for a Fleet Planner for optimizing the utilization of their fleet, managing schedules, and ensuring timely deliveries. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in logistics, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Position: -Fleet Planner.
Package: -3K-4K (AED).
Location: -Dubai.
Experience:1-2 Years of experience in the Logistics, Shipping & Transport industry in Dubai, UAE.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Transportation - Prepare Tokens
Prepare transportation tokens, ensuring accuracy and completeness in all documentation.
Coordinate with drivers and customers to confirm pickup and delivery details, maintaining a seamless flow of information.
2. Communication:
Facilitate effective communication between customers, drivers, and internal systems.
Address customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints promptly and professionally.
Provide regular updates to customers and internal stakeholders regarding shipment statuses and expected delivery times.
3. Task Management:
Plan and organize fleet schedules, optimizing routes to minimize fuel consumption and transportation costs.
Monitor and manage driver schedules, ensuring compliance with regulations and safety standards.
Track task progress, address delays, and implement corrective actions as necessary to meet deadlines.
4. Service and Maintenance - For Passing:
Coordinate vehicle maintenance and service schedules to ensure all vehicles are in optimal condition for transportation.
Oversee the passing of vehicles, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and safety requirements.
Schedule regular maintenance checks, inspections, and repairs for all company vehicles.
Monitor fuel consumption and implement strategies to improve fuel efficiency.
5. Fleet Planning:
Utilize fleet management software and tools to optimize fleet performance and resource allocation.
Analyze data and trends to make data-driven decisions for enhancing fleet efficiency.
Collaborate with the team to develop strategic plans for fleet optimization and cost reduction.
6.Stakeholder Management:
Customer: Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, understanding their specific transportation needs and providing tailored solutions.
Drivers: Foster a positive working environment for drivers, ensuring they are well-informed, motivated, and equipped to perform their tasks efficiently safely.
System: Work closely with internal systems and technology platforms to streamline operations, improve efficiency, and ensure accurate data management.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (preferred).
Skills:
Proven experience in fleet management and transportation logistics.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
Knowledge of transportation regulations, safety standards, and industry best practices.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
Problem-solving mindset and the ability to adapt to changing situations.
