As a Fitter, you will play a vital role in the assembly and installation of various mechanical components and machinery. Your ability to read and interpret blueprints, work with a variety of hand and power tools, and follow precise instructions will be instrumental in ensuring the successful completion of projects. - Assemble and install mechanical components according to blueprint specifications
- Use a variety of hand and power tools to cut, shape, and fit materials
- Test and troubleshoot assembled machinery to identify and resolve any issues
- Collaborate with team members to ensure deadlines are met and projects are completed on time
- Assist in the development and improvement of assembly processes
- Maintain equipment and tools in good working condition
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and regulations to create a safe working environment
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience as a Fitter or similar role
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Strong knowledge of hand and power tools
- Excellent attention to detail and precision
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good physical stamina and manual dexterity
