Job Title: Fit-Out Supervisor
Department: Projects Reports to: Project Manager Job Overview The Fit-Out Supervisor will oversee on-site operations and execution of fit-out projects, ensuring that all tasks are completed to the highest standards, on time, and within budget. The role involves managing subcontractors, coordinating schedules, monitoring quality, and ensuring compliance with company standards and client expectations. Key Responsibilities
Site Supervision Oversee all site activities and manage daily operations to ensure smooth progress. Monitor and direct subcontractors and on-site workers to meet project timelines. Inspect and evaluate work to ensure compliance with design specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations. Project Coordination Coordinate with the project manager, design team, and procurement team to align site activities with project plans. Ensure the timely delivery of materials and liaise with suppliers to resolve any issues. Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports and submit them to the project manager. Quality Control Review and ensure all fit-out works meet company and client quality standards. Conduct inspections to identify and rectify defects or substandard work. Health and Safety Enforce strict adherence to health and safety protocols on-site. Conduct site safety briefings and ensure all personnel comply with company and legal safety regulations. Problem Solving Identify and address on-site challenges promptly to minimize delays. Provide technical advice and guidance to on-site teams when necessary. Client Interaction Represent the company on-site and maintain a professional relationship with clients. Attend client and consultant meetings when required. Qualifications and Requirements Experience: Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience in fit-out or interior design projects. Education: Diploma or degree in civil engineering, construction management, or a related field. Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of fit-out works, materials, and techniques. Proficient in reading technical drawings, BOQs, and specifications. Skills: Excellent communication and leadership skills. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines. Proficiency in MS Office and project management software is a plus.
