Position Title: Estimator
Location: [Dubai, Ras-Al-Khor industrial 1]
Salary Range: $3,500 - $4,000 per month (depending on experience)

We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Estimator to join our team.

Position Summary:
The Estimator will be responsible for accurately estimating the cost and resources required for design and fit-out projects. This role involves analyzing project specifications, drawing up cost estimates, and liaising with clients and suppliers to ensure that budgets are adhered to. The ideal candidate will have experience in the construction or fit-out industry, with strong analytical and communication skills, and the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review project specifications, drawings, and scope of work to determine the materials, labor, and time required for project completion.
• Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for various stages of design and fit-out projects.
• Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure estimates are comprehensive and feasible.
• Obtain quotes from suppliers and subcontractors to ensure competitive pricing.
• Assess risks and recommend cost-effective solutions while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Prepare and present detailed reports on estimated costs and project timelines to clients and senior management.
• Track and update project costs during the execution phase to ensure they align with initial estimates.
• Maintain a database of pricing trends and historical project costs for future reference.
• Assist in the preparation of tender submissions and support the bidding process.
• Provide guidance to junior estimators and contribute to the development of the estimating process.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in estimating within the design and fit-out industry.
• Strong knowledge of materials, labor, and construction processes for interior design and fit-out projects.
• Excellent proficiency in estimating software (e.g., Procore, Buildertrend, etc.) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in preparing cost estimates.
• Good understanding of construction drawings and specifications.
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to liaise with clients, suppliers, and internal teams effectively.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of industry-specific cost databases or cost estimation tools.
• Experience with project management or quantity surveying software.
• Prior experience working in a similar role within a design and fit-out company.

Working Conditions:

• Full-time position, Monday to Saturday.
• Office-based role with occasional site visits for project evaluation.
• Competitive salary ranging from $3,500 to $4,000 per month, based on experience and qualifications.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED3,500.00 - AED4,000.00 per month
