As a Joinery and Fit-Out Supervisor, you will oversee the daily operations of the fit-out projects, ensuring a safe and efficient working environment. You will be responsible for managing on-site staff, coordinating project timelines, and ensuring that all work meets quality standards and client specifications. Your role will also involve maintaining safety protocols, monitoring progress, and ensuring that the project is completed on time and within budget. Yacht interior experience is desirable.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Site Supervision:

Oversee the installation of yacht interiors, including joinery, upholstery, flooring, lighting, and custom furnishings, ensuring that all tasks are completed according to design specifications and schedule. Ensure that all work is completed to the highest quality standards, maintaining the luxury finish expected in yacht interiors.

2. Quality Control:

Conduct regular inspections of work areas, ensuring that materials, finishes, and installations are of the required quality and comply with industry standards and client specifications. Work closely with interior designers and Project Manager to ensure the vision for each yacht interior is accurately executed.

3. Team and Contractor Management:

Supervise and coordinate the activities of subcontractors, craftsmen, and installation teams on site, pertinent to the contractual scope of works, ensuring that work is carried out efficiently and safely. Provide leadership and guidance to the team, ensuring they understand the project requirements and deliverables. Coordinate and allocate tasks to all trades associated with the scope of works. Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations on-site, ensuring the protection of all workers and the yacht during the fit-out process, maintaining a clean and safe working environment. Carry out risk assessments and ensure all team members wear the required personal protective equipment (PPE).

5. Material and Equipment Management:

Oversee the procurement, delivery, and correct use of materials, tools, and equipment required for the yacht fit-out project. Ensure that all materials used are marine-grade and suitable for the conditions onboard (e.g., humidity, movement, marine safety).

6. Communication and Reporting:

Regularly communicate with the Project Manager and interior design team (if required) to provide updates on the status of the project, highlighting any issues or delays. Maintain accurate site records, including daily logs, progress reports, and documentation of changes or deviations from the original plan, to be communicated to the Project Manager/SYI Management as advised.

7. Client Liaison:

As required, liaise with clients and/or their representatives to review progress and address any concerns. Ensure client expectations are met or exceeded regarding quality, timelines, and finishes.

Pay: AED180,000.00 - AED260,000.00 per year
