Job Overview:
The Fit-Out Project Manager will oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of interior fit-out projects, ensuring that all project requirements, deadlines, and budgets are met. This role requires strong project management skills, including leadership, coordination, and communication abilities, as well as technical knowledge of fit-out construction processes. The Fit-Out Project Manager will work closely with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to deliver high-quality results that meet the client's specifications and project standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Project Planning & Execution:
• Develop and oversee fit-out project plans, schedules, and budgets.
• Ensure the project aligns with client specifications and company quality standards.
• Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and quality, addressing any issues that arise.
• Budget Management:
• Prepare project budgets, monitor costs, and report on variances.
• Manage and control costs effectively to ensure the project stays within budget.
• Client & Stakeholder Liaison:
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants, and subcontractors.
• Provide regular updates on project status, timelines, and any issues or delays.
• Conduct meetings with clients to review progress, resolve issues, and maintain satisfaction.
• Team Coordination:
• Manage on-site teams and coordinate the work of subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors.
• Ensure all team members understand their roles, responsibilities, and deadlines.
• Enforce health and safety compliance on the job site.
• Risk & Issue Management:
• Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Proactively manage any project issues, including delays, scope changes, or quality concerns.
• Document and escalate unresolved issues as needed.
• Documentation & Reporting:
• Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including progress reports, change orders, and project completion records.
• Provide timely project updates to senior management.
• Quality Assurance:
• Ensure that all work meets the company's and client's quality standards.
• Review and approve materials, finishes, and designs as per project requirements.
• Conduct final inspections and ensure client satisfaction upon project completion.
Qualifications & Requirements:
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in project management, specifically in fit-out or interior construction projects.
• Certifications: PMP, RICS, or equivalent certifications are a plus.
• Skills:
• Strong knowledge of fit-out construction processes and standards.
• Proficient in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).
• Excellent leadership, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Other Requirements: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple projects, and meet tight deadlines.
