Job Title: Fit-Out Engineer

Location: Dubai, UAE

Job Responsibilities

As a Fit-Out Engineer, you will be responsible for:

1. Project Management

• Overseeing and managing fit-out projects from initiation to completion, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
• Coordinating with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams to achieve project goals.

2. Site Supervision

• Monitoring on-site activities and ensuring work aligns with approved drawings, specifications, and standards.
• Conducting regular inspections to maintain quality control and compliance with safety regulations.

3. Design Coordination

• Collaborating with the design team to understand project requirements and providing technical input for execution.
• Verifying and ensuring approval of shop drawings by relevant authorities.

4. Procurement and Material Management

• Preparing material requisitions and coordinating with the procurement team for timely delivery.
• Inspecting delivered materials to ensure compliance with project specifications.

5. Technical Expertise

• Reviewing and interpreting construction plans, drawings, and specifications.
• Resolving technical issues on-site and providing effective solutions during construction.

6. Authority Approvals

• Managing submissions and approvals with local authorities (e.g., Dubai Municipality, DCD, DEWA).

7. Progress Reporting

• Preparing and submitting daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports to the project manager or senior management.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in the UAE fit-out or interior design industry.
• Strong knowledge of fit-out works, MEP coordination, and finishing details.
• Familiarity with local building codes and authority approval processes (DM, DCD, DEWA).
• Proficiency in project management tools, AutoCAD, and MS Office.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• UAE driving license is preferred.
