Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Installation of Electrical Systems:
Install, assemble, and wire electrical systems in accordance with blueprints, design specifications, and local electrical codes.
Mount and connect control panels, distribution boards, lighting fixtures, switches, outlets, and other electrical devices.
Troubleshooting and Maintenance:
Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical problems in existing systems.
Perform routine maintenance and repairs to ensure the ongoing functionality and safety of electrical installations.
Collaboration with Design and Construction Teams:
Coordinate with interior designers and architects to understand the electrical requirements of the interior space.
Collaborate with other construction professionals to integrate electrical systems seamlessly into the overall design.
Compliance with Regulations:
Ensure all electrical installations comply with local, state, and national electrical codes and regulations.
Stay updated on industry standards and code changes.
Safety Protocols:
Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment.
Implement safety measures during the installation and maintenance of electrical systems.
Documentation and Reporting:
Maintain accurate records of work performed, including as-built drawings, material lists, and equipment specifications.
Provide regular progress reports to project managers and other stakeholders.
Customer Interaction:
Communicate with clients to understand their electrical needs and preferences.
Address client inquiries and concerns in a professional and customer-centric manner.
Quality Assurance:
Ensure the quality and reliability of electrical installations through rigorous testing and inspections.

Qualifications and Skills:

Electrical Certification: Possess a valid electrical license or certification.
Experience: Previous experience as an electrician, particularly in interior fit-out projects, is preferred.
Knowledge: Familiarity with electrical codes, regulations, and industry best practices.
Communication: Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and interact with clients.
Problem-Solving: Excellent troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve electrical issues efficiently.
Safety Awareness: A commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
