Position will identify deficiencies and execute, direct and supervise installation to correct them as they apply to Fire Protection (FP) Systems. Position may include inspecting, testing / troubleshooting, repairing, maintaining and commissioning fire protection (sprinkler) systems. May working with installing/repairing fire pumps, control panels, sprinkler heads, victaulic couplings, cutting, fitting, threading pipe, seismic bracing and other Fire Protection System components as is normally found in water based systems. Work will require reading blueprints, preparing material take-offs and following Engineering design and Code criteria. Planning and executing FP projects including organizing staffing needs and materials to ensure project schedule is maintained. Position may interface with other trades personnel and on site fire personnel to ensure functionality of systems. Provides support to the FP Engineer of Record regarding as-built drawings, NFPA Certifications, documentation and system commissioning.
As directed by management, may supervise employees or subcontractor personnel in accordance with the "General Supervisory Duties and Responsibilities" addendum.

Basic Job Requirements Technical (2-year) degree in a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience, and a minimum of 10 years related experience.
Requires technical skills and proficiency using email, Microsoft Office or specialized applications as necessary to perform assigned job functions.
Must be a U.S. Citizen
Must be eligible to obtain a Secret Security Clearance
Must be NICET Level II certified
Other Job Requirements Position may be located in a wide variety of environments, from conventional indoor office workspace to project worksites with harsh, working and living conditions.
