: Fire Safety Instructor (DCD Licensed)

Position: Fire Safety Instructor
Location: Dubai, UAE
Reports To: Training Manager

Overview:
Prime Wellness Training Institute is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Fire Safety Instructor licensed by the Dubai Civil Defence (DCD). The ideal candidate will deliver professional fire safety training programs, ensuring compliance with UAE safety standards and regulations. This role requires technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and the ability to engage learners in a practical and dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Training Delivery:
• Conduct fire safety training programs in accordance with Dubai Civil Defence (DCD) requirements and guidelines.
• Provide hands-on demonstrations and simulations, including the use of firefighting equipment, evacuation drills, and fire prevention techniques.
• Ensure that all training sessions are practical, engaging, and tailored to the participants' needs.
• Curriculum Development:
• Develop and update training materials, manuals, and presentations to align with DCD regulations and industry best practices.
• Design customized fire safety training programs for various industries, including healthcare, corporate, and public institutions.
• Compliance and Documentation:
• Maintain accurate training records and issue certifications to participants upon successful course completion.
• Ensure compliance with local safety regulations, including maintaining up-to-date knowledge of fire safety laws and standards.
• Assist with audits and inspections related to training programs and compliance.
• Equipment Management:
• Inspect, maintain, and manage training equipment, including fire extinguishers, smoke machines, and protective gear.
• Ensure all equipment used during training is in proper working condition and meets safety standards.
• Client Engagement:
• Liaise with clients to identify their specific fire safety training needs and customize courses accordingly.
• Provide advice and recommendations to improve fire safety practices at client sites.
• Continuous Improvement:
• Stay updated on advancements in fire safety technologies and training methodologies.
• Attend workshops, seminars, and additional certifications to enhance professional knowledge.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Licensing: Valid Dubai Civil Defence (DCD) license as a certified Fire Safety Instructor.
• Education: Diploma or degree in Fire Science, Safety Management, or a related field is preferred.
• Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience delivering fire safety training or working in a fire safety-related role.
• Technical Skills:
• In-depth knowledge of fire safety systems, equipment, and evacuation procedures.
• Proficient in using and maintaining firefighting tools and technology.
• Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills in English; Arabic proficiency is an advantage.
• Personal Attributes:
• Excellent presentation and public speaking skills.
• Ability to engage and motivate learners in a classroom or field setting.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
