Job Overview NAFFCO in Oman is seeking a skilled and experienced Fire Fighting Technician to join our team. The Fire Fighting Technician will be responsible for installing, inspecting, and maintaining fire suppression systems to ensure the safety and protection of buildings and occupants. Job Responsibilities Install and commission fire suppression systems, including fire alarms, sprinklers, and extinguishers Conduct inspections and tests of fire protection equipment and systems Perform preventive maintenance tasks to ensure systems are functioning properly Identify and repair any faults or malfunctions in fire suppression systems Coordinate with clients and project managers to schedule installations and maintenance activities Provide training and support to clients on the use and maintenance of fire protection equipment Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and inspections Qualifications/Skills Technical certification or diploma in fire protection technology or a related field Strong knowledge of fire suppression systems and equipment Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong communication and interpersonal skills Education and Experience Requirements Technical certification or diploma in fire protection technology or a related field Minimum of 2 years of experience in fire fighting or a related field Working Environments Indoor and outdoor environments, including exposure to varying weather conditions Interaction with clients, colleagues, and external stakeholders Varied work hours including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays Benefits Competitive salary Health insurance coverage Retirement savings plan Opportunities for career advancement and professional development Supportive work environment with a focus on safety and excellence Salary Salary will be commensurate with experience.
