Job Description

Design, develop, and install fire fighting systems, including sprinklers, fire alarms, hydrants, and extinguishers, ensuring compliance with local and international fire safety codes. Conduct site surveys to assess fire safety needs and requirements for various building projects. Provide expert advice on fire safety systems to architects, contractors, and clients. Perform regular maintenance and testing of fire safety systems to ensure proper functionality. Troubleshoot and resolve any issues with fire protection equipment and systems. Ensure that all fire safety installations are done in accordance with safety standards and regulations. Prepare reports and documentation on system installations, tests, and inspections. Stay up-to-date with the latest fire protection technologies, standards, and regulations. Collaborate with other engineers, project managers, and safety officers to implement effective fire safety solutions.

Qualifications

:

Bachelor's degree in Fire Protection Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field. Proven experience in designing, installing, and maintaining fire protection systems (sprinklers, fire alarms, etc.). Strong knowledge of local, state, and national fire safety codes and regulations ( Proficiency in fire protection design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, HydraCAD, etc.). Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Certification in Fire Protection Engineering or related fields is a plus.
