Key Responsibilities:

• Installation and Setup:
• Install and configure fire alarm systems, including control panels, detectors, alarms, and other related equipment.
• Conduct system tests to verify proper installation and functionality.
• Ensure that installations adhere to industry standards and local regulations.
• Maintenance and Repairs:
• Perform routine maintenance on fire alarm systems to ensure optimal performance.
• Diagnose and repair faults or malfunctions in fire alarm systems.
• Replace faulty components and update systems as needed.
• Inspections and Testing:
• Conduct regular inspections of fire alarm systems to ensure they meet safety codes and regulations.
• Test systems to ensure proper operation and response.
• Document inspection results, repairs, and maintenance activities.
• Compliance and Documentation:
• Ensure that all fire alarm systems are compliant with national and local fire safety regulations and standards.
• Maintain accurate records of installations, inspections, repairs, and service reports.
• Prepare and submit documentation required for regulatory compliance and client reporting.
• Client Interaction:
• Communicate with clients to understand their needs and provide recommendations for system improvements or upgrades.
• Provide training and support to clients on the use and maintenance of fire alarm systems.
• Address and resolve any client concerns or issues related to fire alarm systems.
• Safety and Best Practices:
• Follow safety protocols and procedures while working on fire alarm systems.
• Use personal protective equipment (PPE) and adhere to safety regulations to prevent accidents and injuries.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in fire alarm technology and safety.
• Emergency Response:
• Respond promptly to emergency service calls for fire alarm system malfunctions or issues.
• Provide on-call support as required to address urgent problems and ensure systems are operational.
