: Finishing Project Engineer (High Rise Building, UAE)

Project Location: AL KIFAF PROJECT PHASE III (Near Max Metro Station) - Dubai

Overview:

The Finishing Project Engineer will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating all finishing works on a high-rise building project in the UAE. This role will involve ensuring that all finishing activities are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Planning:
• Develop and implement comprehensive finishing project plans, schedules, and budgets.
• Coordinate with other project stakeholders, including architects, designers, and contractors, to ensure seamless integration of finishing works.
• Quality Control:
• Establish and enforce strict quality control standards for all finishing materials and workmanship.
• Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with project specifications and industry regulations.
• Procurement:
• Manage the procurement of finishing materials, equipment, and services.
• Negotiate with suppliers to achieve the best possible pricing and terms.
• Site Supervision:
• Supervise and coordinate the work of subcontractors and tradespeople involved in finishing activities.
• Resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise on site.
• Progress Monitoring:
• Track project progress and identify potential risks or delays.
• Develop and implement mitigation strategies to address any challenges.
• Cost Control:
• Monitor project costs and ensure that they are within budget.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement effective cost control measures.
• Safety Management:
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and standards.
• Develop and implement safety plans and procedures.
• Documentation:
• Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including progress reports, meeting minutes, and quality control records.
• Prepare and submit required reports to the project manager and client.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in finishing works on high-rise building projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and techniques.
• Proven ability to manage complex projects and meet tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Primavera, MS Project).
• UAE driving license is a plus.
