West One are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented

Finishing Engineer

to join our team, specializing in the construction of high-end residential villas and others.

The Finishing Engineer will be responsible for overseeing and managing the finishing stages of the construction process, ensuring that all finishes are of the highest quality and precision.

The ideal candidate will have experience in high-end construction projects, focusing on quality control, materials management, and precision finishing, ensuring that every project meets customer expectations and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee the finishing processes on-site, including plastering, painting, coating, flooring installation, and surface treatment to ensure exceptional quality and consistency in high-end residential villas. Work closely with architects, designers, and the construction team to ensure smooth transitions from the building phase to the final finishing stages, adhering to project timelines. Inspect finished surfaces and materials for defects, imperfections, or deviations from design specifications, and ensure corrective actions are promptly taken. Collaborate with the design team to establish and enforce standards for the finishing work, ensuring it aligns with client specifications and luxury market expectations. Resolve any issues related to finishing techniques, materials, or equipment on-site. Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations during the finishing stages of construction. Review and interpret architectural drawings and customer requirements to determine appropriate finishing processes, materials, and specifications. Actively seek opportunities to improve finishing techniques, reduce waste, and optimize resources to enhance project efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

Qualifications:

5 years proven experience in finishing works for high-end residential or luxury construction projects. Experience with high-end construction finishes such as marble, tile, granite, glass works, metal works, wall papers, premium paints, fixtures and custom carpentry, etc. Excellent attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills, ensuring precision in all finishing tasks. Ability to read and interpret complex architectural drawings. Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders, including clients, designers, and contractors. Ability to work independently, managing multiple tasks and ensuring project deadlines are met. Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations specific to residential construction.
