Job Summary:

The Finishing Carpenter will be responsible for precise cutting, assembling, and installing MDF-based furniture, particularly kitchens, wardrobes, and other custom wooden fittings. The role requires expertise in operating cutting machines, attention to detail, and ensuring the highest quality finish in line with company standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Cutting and Shaping:
• Operate and maintain cutting machines (e.g., panel saws, CNC, edge banders).
• Accurately measure, cut, and shape MDF wood components as per design specifications.
• Assembly and Fixing:
• Assemble and install kitchens, wardrobes, and other custom MDF woodwork.
• Ensure alignment, smooth edges, and a seamless finish in all products.
• Quality Assurance:
• Inspect finished pieces to ensure they meet quality and design standards.
• Rectify any imperfections or inconsistencies promptly.
• Maintenance of Tools and Equipment:
• Perform routine checks and maintenance of cutting machines and tools.
• Report any technical issues or malfunctions to the supervisor.
• Collaboration and Coordination:
• Work closely with designers and production supervisors to understand project requirements.
• Coordinate with other team members to ensure timely project completion.
• Health and Safety:
• Follow all workplace safety guidelines and ensure a clean and organized workstation.
• Use protective gear and ensure the safe handling of materials and equipment.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Experience: Minimum 3-5 years in carpentry, specializing in MDF wood kitchens and wardrobes.
• Technical Skills:
• Proficiency in operating cutting machines (e.g., CNC, panel saws, edge banders).
• Skilled in reading technical drawings and blueprints.
• Knowledge: Understanding of MDF materials and European wood standards.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift heavy objects, work on-site, and handle tools safely.
• Soft Skills:
• Attention to detail and precision.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED1,600.00 - AED3,000.00 per month
