Manco Engineering and Technical Industries FZC, a leader in electromechanical, fabrication, plumbing, and industrial projects in the UAE, is seeking an experienced Finishing Carpenter . The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finishing work, including installing and repairing structures and fixtures made of wood, plywood, and wallboard. The role requires precision, attention to detail, and a commitment to high-quality craftsmanship, specifically for interior work such as doors, cabinets, office furniture, and ceiling work.

Responsibilities:

• Install, repair, and finish doors, cabinets, and office furniture, focusing on aesthetics and functionality.
• Construct and install ceiling fixtures, including suspended ceilings and decorative elements.
• Read and interpret architectural drawings and specifications to ensure accurate project execution.
• Accurately measure and cut wood, plywood, and other materials to meet project specifications.
• Assemble and install furniture and cabinetry, ensuring precise alignment and fit.
• Apply finishes such as stains, varnishes, and paints to enhance the appearance and durability of wood surfaces.
• Conduct repairs on existing wood structures and fixtures as needed.
• Perform routine inspections to identify and rectify potential issues in finished work.
• Ensure all completed work meets quality standards and specifications, making adjustments as necessary.
• Adhere to safety protocols and regulations on the job site, using personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Education : High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or apprenticeship in carpentry is preferred.
• Experience : Minimum of 3 years of experience as a finishing carpenter, particularly in interior work within the GCC region; proven experience in installing and finishing doors, cabinets, office furniture, and ceilings.
• Skills : Strong knowledge of woodworking techniques and finishing methods; proficiency in using hand and power tools related to carpentry; ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings; excellent attention to detail and a strong commitment to craftsmanship.
• Additional Requirements : Knowledge of safety regulations and practices in the construction industry; ability to work independently and as part of a team; strong communication skills and problem-solving abilities.
