Finishing Carpenter
Job Description
Qasr Al Mahir Decor, a leading renovation and decor company in Sharjah, is seeking a skilled Finishing Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in carpentry with a keen eye for detail, especially in finishing works, and a passion for delivering top-quality craftsmanship in various residential and commercial projects.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform detailed carpentry work, including installation of doors, windows, moldings, baseboards, cabinets, and custom woodwork.
• Measure, cut, shape, and assemble wood and wood substitute materials to exact specifications.
• Sand, stain, varnish, or paint wood surfaces to create a polished, high-quality finish.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and project specifications.
• Collaborate with project managers, designers, and other trades to ensure project deadlines are met.
• Repair or replace defective or damaged wooden structures and surfaces.
• Ensure all carpentry tasks meet safety and quality standards.
• Maintain tools and workspaces in a safe and organized manner.
