Responsibilities:

Within a team of 8 people your main responsibilities will be:





•Financial Planning and Analysis: •

• Assist the Head of Finance in preparing monthly forecasts and reports for Management.
• Help in preparing the annual budgets in collaboration with the HQ.
• Conduct variance business and financial analysis to compare budgeted results against actuals and explain variances.
• Support the preparation of business/financial reports and dashboards for management review. Make sure reports are updated and automated as much as possible.
• Along with the Finance Team, participate in the improvement of financial processes and systems to enhance forecasting accuracy and reporting capabilities.
• Work closely with Sales, Services and Marketing teams to build actionable reports (recurring or one-off) and challenge internal decisions.
• Collaborate with all stakeholders (partners, auditors, etc.) on various specific analyses.
• Conduct industry analysis and assess competitor performance in the region.

•Financial Controlling: •

• In collaboration with the Accounting team, support the monthly and yearly closing with a defined set of controls.
• Help monitor and control expenses and ensure compliance with financial policies and regulations.
• Participate in the external audits and internal compliance checks to ensure adherence to financial and operational controls.
• Support financial audit activities by providing necessary documentation and responses to external inquiries.
• Assist in the evaluation of capital expenditures and investment activities to align with global strategy (R&D, Marketing, Real Estate, etc.).

•Collaboration and Communication: •

• Work closely with different departments to gather financial data and insights, ensuring the data is clean.
Communicate financial findings and suggestions to management and non-finance stakeholders effectively.


•Compliance & VAT Management: •

• Communicate financial findings and suggestions to management and non-finance stakeholders effectively.
• Support the taxes preparation (VAT, Corporate Tax), ensuring accurate submissions in compliance with legal requirements.

•Process improvement: •

• Contributing to streamlining and improving accounting processes for efficiency and accuracy.

•HQ Coordination: •

• Maintaining clear and consistent liaison with the headquarters and other FP&A employees







About You:




• Ability to work in a fast-paced start-up environment with a proactive, hands-on attitude.

Must Have:




• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• Experience in financial planning, analysis, or a similar role (ideally in a tech company)
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.




Nice to Haves:


• Passion for software products and Odoo knowledge.
• Multilingual capabilities.
• Understanding of macroeconomics in the GCC.
• Fluency in Arabic.

Finance related certification (CPA, CFA, ACCA, etc)
