LEDFlex is a manufacturer of LED luminaires, established for more than 10 years and is looking for an experienced Financial Controller. We design, develop and manufacture LED lighting solutions for the UK and International markets. At LED Flex we continue to lead the way in terms of performance, efficiency and ecological friendly exterior and interior lighting products. The ideal applicant will have a demonstrated background in finance and accounting. Ideally you will be located in Dubai Investment Park 2, UAE.As the Financial Controller you will have at least 5 years of experience in a professional accounting or auditing role also previous experience in a managerial accounting position would be advantageous. A background in supporting a multinational business, corporate financial management and being able to show experience in leading financial teams and overseeing the company\xe2\x80\x99s financial control and reporting activities. Our products are at the forefront of the lighting industry, illuminating everything from hospitality to architectural landmarks.Role ResponsibilitiesPreparing monthly financial reports, performing account reconciliations & maintaining the general ledger including audit trail support for all journal entries, ensuring that an organisation meets the necessary tax, permit and licencing requirementsPreparation and analytical review of financial data and generate monthly trend reports and balance sheet reconciliations ensuring financial statement accuracy and investigating variancesIntercompany transfersAssisting with annual reviews/audit preparation, collaborating with an executive team in establishing more effective processes and controls to ensure the integrity of a company\xe2\x80\x99s ledgerComplete all VAT & Corporate filings and returnsComplete all HMRC filings and returnsEase financial transparency across the business globally ensuring International Financial Reporting Standards are adhered to.Supporting the sales team with customer tender completionsProviding executive management with accurate and comprehensive financial information to guide effective policy making and financial strategizingSummarising budget trends, analysing deficiencies and reporting variances to executivesProviding external auditors with the necessary documentation and supportQualifications and SkillsA practical understanding of management accounting principles and techniquesSolid knowledge of standard accountancy and finance best practicesSolid IT skills, including proficiency in the relevant accounting packagesA strong understanding of tax codes and lawsStrong analytical skills to effectively analyse financial reportsIn-depth knowledge of budgeting and financial forecastingWhat you\xe2\x80\x99ll get working with LEDFlexSalary dependent on experience, negotiableDesirable working hours (Mon - Fri, 08:30am - 5:30pm) with one hour lunch breakAnnual leave as per UAE lawAnnual flight allowance to home countryPremium medical insuranceThis job has been sourced from an external job board.
