Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Financial Controller to undertake aspects of financial & budgeting control, including corporate accounting, regulatory and financial reporting, budget, and forecasts preparation, as well as development of internal control policies and procedures of finance department. Finance Controller responsibilities will also include financial risk management. Responsibilities The Financial & Budgeting Controller reporting to the Finance Director. Provide the Finance Director the financial reports based on financial department methodology. It is imperative that the Financial & Budgeting Controller maintains correct, up to date records of all expenses, particularly Capital Budgets and cash flow budget. Deviations to the budget to be reported as appropriate. Support month-end and year-end close process Ensure quality control over financial transactions. Carrying out the oversight aspect of recording revenues & cost and verifying their validity, accuracy, and verification period. Verifying the validity and accuracy of expenses and supplier payments before the payment. Check the validity and accuracy of cash deposits to branches without any delays. Achieving the oversight aspect of proving or disposing of fixed assets and records The Budget Controller must develop and present monthly/quarterly and yearly financial update reports for each operational channel to the Finance Director, including financial achievements, variations to budget. Design effective budget models for departments and the company. Analyst financial information (e.g. revenues, expenditures) to ensure all operations are within budget. Monitor the status of budget spending/activity. Present annual budgets to the Finance Director. Review budget requests for approval to be approved by the Finance Director. Identify variances between actual and budgeted financial results at the end of each period. Review the organization's budget for compliance. Qualifications Expertise in Financial Statements and Financial Reporting. Analytical skills with ability to interpret and analyst financial data. Proficiency in Finance and Accounting. Bachelor's/ Master's degree in accounting. Certification, CMA, CA, CPA, Scopa as preferred. Experience is 7 years as a Financial Controller.
