One of the leading Manufacturing company in the Heat Transfer Industry is looking for a Financial Controller to be based at their HO in AJMANPosition Summary: Oversee the organization's financial activities, including being responsible for the finance, accounting and administration professionals who perform operational functions, and serve in a strategic advisory role for the C-suite peers and Board of Directors. Responsible for developing the companys budget, communicating with the companys banking and insurance partners, and advising other executives on strategic matters relating to company finances. Essential Job Functions
Directing the improvement of business, company profitability and cash flow.
Developing and implementing finance strategies, budgets and plans in support of business objectives.
Creating and executing the strategy, managing relationships with investors, partners and suppliers and helping to scale the business
Assuming responsibility for end-to-end financial management of the business including control reporting cash management and liquidity
Supporting the board and Chairman in the day-to-day management and running of the business
Providing strategic recommendations to the Chairman and members of the Leadership Team
Leading the development of new processes procedures and systems as the business requires
Leading the team to develop the strength of reporting as well as enhancing and developing policies processes and disciplines to improve financial robustness
Overall responsibility for developing and enhancing analytical and forecasting tools to provide insightful performance reporting and insight to the board of directors
Assisting the Chairman in managing all financial and legal aspects of the business and providing analysis for important decision making
Ensuring that appropriate financial controls are in place and that working capital is managed effectively
Managing a variety of internal and external stakeholders on all financial matters and independently form strategic relationships
Awareness and understanding of the wider business economic and market environment in which we operate especially the wider regulatory and accounting requirements and their impact on the business
Identify and address potential financial risks for the company.
Performing risk management by analysing the organizations liabilities and investments.
Deciding on investment strategies by considering cash and liquidity risks.
Control and evaluate the organizations fundraising plans and capital structure.
Ensure cash flow is appropriate for the organizations operations.
Prepare and present the analysis and input on the evaluation of capital project.
Oversee all financial decisions, such as budgeting and auditing.
Assist in the company and its subsidiaries internal audits and annual external audits and maintain relations with external auditors and investigate their findings and recommendations
Oversee the financial operations of subsidiary companies and foreign operations
