Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting within the intellectual property field and significant experience handling international transactions. This role is crucial in ensuring the financial health of our operations across multiple regions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.
• Prepare and analyses financial statements, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial records.
• Handle complex accounting tasks related to intellectual property cases, patents, and other related transactions.
• Manage international transactions, including foreign currency exchanges, international taxation, and cross-border financial reporting.
• Collaborate with branch offices globally to streamline financial processes and ensure consistency.
• Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and control.
• Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management for strategic decision-making.
• Coordinate with external auditors and manage audit processes.
• Stay updated on changes in accounting regulations and standards.
• prepare the tax & vat reports and submit it.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA or equivalent certification preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, with at least 3 years in a senior accounting role.
• Proven experience in the intellectual property sector and familiarity with related financial transactions.
• Strong knowledge of international accounting standards and practices.
• Proficiency in the Odoo accounting system.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED6,000.00 - AED10,000.00 per month

Experience:

• Accounting: 5 years (Required)
• Odoo Accounting System: 1 year (Preferred)
