We are seeking a seasoned
Financial Analyst with 8-10 years of experience to join our team and contribute
to our continued success. The ideal candidate will have a strong business
acumen with a background in financial analysis, excellent attention to detail
and a strong knowledge of financial laws and regulations in the UAE, KSA and
Singapore.
Main
Accountabilities:
•
Financial
Analysis: Conduct comprehensive
financial analysis to provide management with definitive financial data and
advice for their use in setting and realizing profit objectives. This includes
analysing financial data, tracking financial performance, creating complex
financial models to support business decisions, analyse trends, variances, and
financial performance against benchmarks.
•
Financial
Reporting: Prepare
and present accurate monthly, quarterly and annual financial and management reports.
These include consolidating and analysing financial data, taking into account
the company's goals and financial standing. Provide analysis and insights to
senior management.
•
Budgeting
and Forecasting: Lead
the annual budgeting and forecasting processes ensuring alignment with
strategic goals. Develop financial projections and scenarios to support
business planning. This includes analysing variances and initiating corrective
actions.
•
Strategic
Planning: Participate
in strategic planning and budget development. This includes providing creative
alternatives and recommendations to reduce costs and improve financial
performance. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement
strategic initiatives. Provide financial input for business cases, capital
investments, and strategic projects.
•
Cost
Management: Identify
cost-saving opportunities and efficiencies. Monitor and control expenditures to
ensure adherence to budgets.
•
Risk
Management: Identify and
evaluate potential areas of financial risk and make recommendations for risk
mitigation strategies. This includes conducting business studies on past,
future and comparative performance and developing forecast models. Ensure
compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.
•
Performance
Monitoring: Track key
financial and operational metrics. Develop dashboards and reporting tools to
provide real-time insights to management.
Job
Specification:
•
Bachelor's
or higher degree in Commerce/Accounting/Finance.
•
Professional
qualification (CFA, CA, CPA, CIMA, MBA or equivalent) is highly desirable.
•
8-10
years of relevant work experience preferably with experience in the Education
and Real Estate Development industries.
•
In-depth
understanding of IFRS, Corporate Tax and VAT regulations
•
Strong
analytical and quantitative skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in financial
modelling and analysis. Experience on tools such as Power BI and should possess
excellent presentation skills.
•
Advanced
knowledge of financial systems, ERP software, and Microsoft Office Suite
(Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
•
Excellent
verbal and written communication skills with the ability to convey complex
financial information to both financial and non-financial stakeholders.
•
Ability
to work independently under pressure and meet tight deadlines with minimal
daily supervision, taking ownership of tasks and projects.
•
Strong
negotiation skills and ability to build relationships and influence
decision-making will be key to your effectiveness in this role.
•
A
team player with a knack for documenting workflows and processes.
•
A
collaborative mindset is essential, as you'll be working closely with
colleagues across departments to achieve common goals. Your willingness to
