We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented

Financial Analyst

to join our dynamic finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for analysing financial data, preparing reports, and providing actionable insights to support strategic decision-making within the organization. This role requires a deep understanding of financial principles, expertise in financial products such as

Bonds, Sukuks, Structured Products, and other investment options

, and the ability to communicate complex financial findings effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Analysis & Modelling:

Conduct detailed financial analysis and develop financial models to support business planning, strategic decision-making, and investment evaluations. Utilize advanced financial modelling techniques (e.g., discounted cash flow, scenario analysis, and sensitivity analysis) to assess financial performance and risks. Analyse financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, to evaluate company performance and make data-driven recommendations.

Financial Reporting & Budgeting:

Prepare and present comprehensive financial reports, including budgets, forecasts, variance analyses, and investment performance summaries. Create dashboards and executive summaries highlighting key financial metrics, trends, and variances. Deliver periodic reports on financial performance and provide insights to senior management.

Investment Product Expertise:

Provide insights and financial models for investment products such as

Bonds, Sukuks, and Structured Products

to support decision-making. Assess pricing, risks, and potential returns of these financial instruments. Stay updated on market trends and recommend investment strategies based on financial data.

Trend Analysis & Forecasting:

Analyse historical data, industry trends, and key performance indicators to identify cost-saving opportunities and revenue enhancement strategies. Conduct predictive analytics and develop financial forecasts to help anticipate market shifts and inform business strategies.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

Work closely with various departments (e.g., marketing, sales, operations) to align financial strategies with business goals. Support non-financial teams in understanding how their activities impact financial outcomes. Collaborate with key stakeholders to gather data and refine financial strategies.

Financial Statements & Compliance:

Assist in the preparation and review of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Ensure compliance with

accounting standards (e.g., IFRS, GAAP)

and regulatory requirements. Monitor changes in financial regulations and accounting standards to maintain compliance.

Financial Performance Monitoring & Optimization:

Continuously monitor financial performance against budgets and forecasts. Provide actionable recommendations for cost efficiency, revenue optimization, and capital allocation. Conduct post-investment analysis to assess investment performance versus projections.

Month-End & Year-End Closing:

Support the month-end and year-end financial closing processes. Assist in financial statement preparation and ensure timely reconciliation of accounts.

Strategic Insights & Business Partnering:

Provide strategic financial insights by identifying key business drivers and financial risks. Contribute to financial forecasting and long-term business planning. Present complex financial data in a clear and concise manner to senior leadership.

Investment Evaluation & Capital Allocation:

Evaluate the company's investment portfolio and identify potential opportunities. Perform in-depth due diligence on potential investments, assessing financial performance and risk factors.

Process Improvement & Optimization:

Identify opportunities for improving financial reporting, forecasting, and analysis. Implement best practices to streamline financial operations and improve efficiency.

Requirements:

Master degree

in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.

Minimum of 5 years

of experience in a Financial Analyst role within a

Bank or Financial Institution

. Strong expertise in

financial products

such as

Bonds, Sukuks, and Structured Products

. Proficiency in

financial modelling and analysis tools

(e.g.,

Excel, financial software

). Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy. Strong organizational and time management skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Master's degree

in Finance or a related field. Experience with

financial forecasting and budgeting processes

. Familiarity with

accounting principles and financial reporting practices

. Strong communication skills (written and verbal) with the ability to

present complex financial data in a clear and concise manner

. Proficiency in using

financial software and databases
