Role Overview:
As a Finance Analyst, your primary responsibility will be to conduct thorough data analysis and reporting, enhancing the accuracy of financial reporting and controls. You will play a crucial role in refining existing procedures to generate insightful management reports and KPIs that demonstrate financial performance. With a stakeholder-centric approach, you will actively engage with various business units, leveraging your insights to drive meaningful change, add value, and influence decision-making beyond finance. Building strong relationships across the organization, you will contribute to fostering a collaborative and dynamic work environment.
What youll do:
Support the Finance Team with the delivery of month end/year-end, quarterly forecasts and annual budget for the Middle East Rental business by timely preparation of month end P&L and forecast and business Performance Dashboard Metrics, month-end and year-end reports.
Ensuring financial statements are managed and reported in accordance with Aggrekos Financial Controls which are adhering to International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) developed by the International Accounting Standards Board (IASB)
Identify efficiencies and build improvements to existing financial processes and reports and identify key trends and provide risk analysis where necessary.
Cost Controlling & Analysis - track, analyse and control the costs associated with transactional business and projects, such as Mobilisation/Demobilisation, Service Materials and other Indirect costs related to the ME_Rental Business.
Work closely with cross-functional teams/key stakeholders of the Middle East Rental business outside of Finance in ensuring Financial Analysis is provide for Strategic Decision Making and Planning.
Youll have the following skills and experience:
Ideally looking for a Qualified Accountant (CA/CPA, ACCA, CIMA) and/or Academically Qualified with a minimum of a Bachelors Degree in Finance or equivalent qualifications
Minimum 3 years of experience in Finance/Business Analysis role
Ability to analyse and challenge data when appropriate to ensure complete and accurate
Have experience of developing/improving processes and have worked on continuous improvement initiatives.
Good technical accounting knowledge with excellent spreadsheet/systems interrogation skills
Experience of M3 Cloudsuite, Tagetik, Basware would be advantageous
