Our client, an Abu Dhabi-based investment firm under government regulation, is dedicated to establishing a smart mobility platform through strategic investments and partnerships with global industry leaders.
Currently, they seek a Financial Analyst to lead the FP&A function for their holding company. This role involves shaping and maintaining the annual budget and forecast, addressing financial analysis needs, and advising upper management on future financial plans.
Responsibilities:
Cultivate relationships with department heads, offering guidance on realistic plans for the upcoming year.
Analyze the company\'s financial performance, assess the impact of strategic initiatives, and evaluate new business opportunities.
Develop and maintain the annual budget and forecast, conduct financial modeling and analysis.
Monitor day-to-day financial operations, including payroll and invoicing.
Prepare monthly and quarterly management reports, identifying key financial drivers and recommending performance improvements.
Participate in strategic data analysis, research, and modeling for senior company leadership.
Create and distribute financial reports and dashboards to provide senior management with insights into the company\'s financial performance and market trends.
Ensure timely and transparent reporting execution, building confidence in reliable, predictable delivery.
Prepare management reporting packs with clear identification of risks and opportunities.
Oversee annual budgets and forecasts, including regular reforecasting cycles.
Review business case proposals and conduct financial evaluations in collaboration with stakeholders.
Support FP&A team leadership and analysts, actively participating in the broader Finance team to facilitate the implementation of new finance requirements, systems, and processes.
Education and Certifications:
Bachelor\'s degree in Accounting or Finance.
Masters degree in Finance/MBA preferred.
Certification in Finance/Accounting (CPA, ACA, ACCA, CPP, and CFA) highly recommended.
Qualifications and Experience:
10 to 15 years of relevant experience.
Knowledge of financial management, reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
Strong analytical and financial modeling skills.
Leadership and management capabilities.
Familiarity with financial compliance and local market statutory reporting.
Extensive experience in GAAP, IFRS, and local market accounting standards.
Preferably, experience in the automotive industry.
