: Finance Supervisor - Travel Agency

We are seeking an experienced Finance Supervisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial management within the travel industry, coupled with proficiency in using travel-specific systems such as eTravel or Travelogix . This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented professional to lead financial operations and contribute to the growth of our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the financial operations of the travel agency, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
• Manage daily accounting processes such as accounts payable/receivable, reconciliations, and payroll.
• Utilize eTravel or Travelogix systems to track and analyze financial data and operational performance.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations, company policies, and industry standards.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management review.
• Provide insights and recommendations to improve financial performance and operational efficiency.
• Supervise and mentor the finance team, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
• Collaborate with other departments to streamline processes and enhance financial accuracy.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Finance Supervisor, preferably in a travel agency or related industry.
• Proficiency in eTravel , Travelogix , or similar travel management systems.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and budget management.
• Excellent analytical skills with a high level of attention to detail.
• Proficiency in financial software and MS Excel.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or similar certification is a plus).
