DescriptionTechnical Experience:Fully experienced in all facets of accounting & Finance.Hands on Experience in managing: * A Department of highly trained accounting staff (15 people).
All aspects of financial reporting from Trial Balance, Profit & Loss, Balance sheet and related schedules and consolidated Financials.
Adequate knowledge of Cost Ledgers and General ledgers and their reconciliations.
Knowledge of Construction field accounting - Preferable though not mandatory.
Ability to work on tight timelines, for monthly cost closing and month end accounts.
Working knowledge of Tax related matters such as VAT & Corporate taxes.
Scrutiny and analysis of various reports viz Banks, Debtors, creditors, WIP, Fixed Assets, Inventory, Payroll costs etc.,
Overseeing & managing of Staff & Operatives' payroll.
Scrutinizing & authorizing of Journal Entries.
Banking & Related aspects including knowledge of Bank guarantees, Lcs etc.,
Managing Audit and engaging with the auditors and be responsible for timely and successful completion of audit.
Role requires close interaction on regular basis with the Commercial & Operations team for compilation of project related information on revenue and costs and their reconciliations with financial records.
Periodical review of systems and suggestions for improvement.
