Key Responsibilities:
1. Financial Planning and Analysis:
• Prepare and review financial statements, reports, and forecasts to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
• Develop, manage, and analyze financial budgets, working closely with department heads to ensure budgets are aligned with the company's goals.
• Provide insights and recommendations based on financial data to support management decision-making and strategic planning.
• Conduct variance analysis to identify discrepancies and recommend corrective actions.
2. Financial Reporting:
• Oversee the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies.
• Ensure adherence to accounting standards such as IFRS, GAAP, or any local accounting standards.
• Lead the statutory audit process, coordinating with external auditors and ensuring that audits are completed accurately and on time.
• Maintain the chart of accounts, ensuring proper classification and consistency in financial reporting.
3. Cash Flow and Treasury Management:
• Monitor cash flow to ensure liquidity and efficient use of financial resources.
• Develop strategies to optimize working capital, manage debt, and ensure sufficient funds are available for day-to-day operations.
• Oversee banking relationships and negotiate terms, including credit lines and financing agreements.
4. Compliance and Risk Management:
• Ensure compliance with all tax regulations, corporate laws, and financial reporting requirements.
• Manage corporate tax filings, VAT, GST, and other relevant tax submissions.
• Conduct risk assessments and develop internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
• Stay updated on regulatory changes, tax laws, and industry best practices to ensure the company remains in compliance.
5. Cost Control and Profitability:
• Analyze cost structures and identify opportunities to improve profitability and reduce expenses.
• Develop and implement cost control procedures and initiatives.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and support departments in cost reduction and efficiency improvement efforts.
6. Team Leadership and Development:
• Manage and lead a team of accountants and financial analysts, ensuring that tasks are completed accurately and efficiently.
• Conduct performance appraisals and provide mentoring and professional development opportunities for team members.
• Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement within the finance team.
7. Strategic Advisory:
• Provide financial insights and support to senior management to help drive the company's strategic initiatives.
• Participate in mergers, acquisitions, and other major financial transactions, providing advice and due diligence.
• Collaborate with other departments, such as operations, sales, and marketing, to support cross-functional initiatives.
Qualifications:
• Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification from a recognized institution (e.g., ICAI in India, ACA in the UK, etc.).
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum [X] years of experience in finance management, accounting, or auditing.
• Strong knowledge of financial regulations, tax laws, and accounting standards (IFRS, GAAP).
• Proven experience in financial forecasting, budgeting, and financial reporting.

• Experience in handling audits, managing tax filings, and compliance requirements.
