Job description
Responsibilities
• Provide financial reports and interpret financial information to Managing Director while recommending further courses of action.
• Advise on investment activities and provide strategies that the company should take
• Maintain the financial health of the organization.
• Analyze costs, pricing, variable contributions, sales results and the company's actual performance compared to the business plans.
• Develop trends and projections for the company's finances.
• Conduct reviews and evaluations for cost-reduction opportunities.
• Oversee operations of the finance department, set goals and objectives, and design a framework for these to be met.
• Manage the preparation of the company's budget and financial statements and necessary reports.
• Liase with auditors to ensure appropriate monitoring of company finances is maintained.
• Correspond with various other departments, discussing company plans and agreeing on future paths to be taken.
• It is compulsory the candidate must have Working knowledge of all statutory legislation and regulations within UAE related to Finance, VAT and Corporate Tax.
• Ability to create and implement effective policies for finance and accounting departments to ensure compliance and efficiency.
• Proficiency in evaluating and improving financial systems and processes to enhance performance and adaptability.
• Skill in directing and managing daily operations, providing support to finance and accounting teams, and fostering a collaborative work environment.
• Expertise in developing strategies to mitigate financial risks, maximizing profits, and assisting in executive decision-making through insightful financial recommendations.
• Competence in monitoring reporting systems, preparing accurate financial reports, interpreting data, and ensuring adherence to industry regulations and standards.
Requirements and skills
• Proven experience as a Financial Manager
• Extensive understanding of international financial reporting standards
• Proficient user of finance software
• Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
• Able to manage, guide and lead employees to ensure appropriate financial processes are being used
• A solid understanding of financial statistics and accounting principles
• Working knowledge of all statutory legislation and regulations within UAE related to Finance, VAT and Corporate Tax.
• Professional qualification such as CA,ACCA,CMA,CIMA or similar will be considered only.
