FINANCE MANAGER
Duties and Responsibilities
1. Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department, including:
• Month and year-end processes
• Accounts payable/ receivable
• Cash receipts
• General ledger
• Payroll and utilities
• Treasury and budgeting
• Cash forecasting
• Financial analysis
• Capital assets reconciliations
• Fixed assets record keeping
2. Coordinate and complete annual audits and ensure compliance with financial regulations.
3. Coordinate with tax agent to update and file tax returns.
4. Provide recommendations for improving financial systems, procedures, and initiate corrective
actions as needed.
5. Assign projects to staff and provide direction to ensure compliance and accuracy and integrity of
financial operations.
6. Meet financial accounting objectives and deadlines, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of
financial information.
7. Establish and maintain fiscal files and records to document transactions and ensure compliance
with record-keeping requirements.
8. Forecast costs for projects, providing financial analysis and recommendations for optimal project
outcomes.
9. Oversee and manage the daily updating of the list of suppliers, ensuring effective coordination
and communication with suppliers.
10. Prepare statutory accounts in accordance with relevant accounting standards and company
policies.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field is
required.
• At least 5-7 years of experience in accounting or finance roles and managerial position.
• Experience in the construction, fit-out, or joinery industry is an advantage.
• Strong financial analysis, budgeting, and cost control skills.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: AED10,000.00 - AED15,000.00 per month
