The Role

Westlakes Recruit is collaborating with a prominent real estate company in the UAE to hire an experienced Finance Manager. The role involves managing the company's financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and ensuring compliance with UAE financial regulations. Candidates must have a background in real estate and experience working in the UAE. Key Responsibilities: General Responsibilities: o Ensure all actions align with the company's mission, vision, and core values. o Comply with company policies, maintaining professionalism and consistency. o Follow the organizational structure and collaborate effectively with leadership and team members. o Perform additional duties as required. Departmental Specialized Responsibilities: o Develop and manage budgeting and forecasting processes. o Prepare accurate financial statements and management reports. o Implement internal controls and strategies to mitigate financial risks. o Monitor and manage cash flow, investments, and debt. o Lead and mentor the finance team to ensure accurate financial management. o Analyze financial variances and recommend corrective actions. o Align financial goals with operational activities by collaborating with department heads. o Ensure compliance with financial regulations, tax laws, and local UAE compliance standards. o Support audits by providing accurate financial documentation. o Drive process improvements in financial reporting and accounting practices. o Assist in strategic financial planning and decision-making. o Oversee preparation of tax returns, ensuring compliance with UAE tax regulations. o Manage relationships with external auditors and regulatory bodies. o Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management. o Monitor financial performance against budget and forecasts. External Relationships: o External Auditors o Financial Institutions



Requirements

Minimum: o Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field o 7+ years of financial management experience, including budgeting and forecasting o In-depth knowledge of UAE tax regulations and financial compliance Preferred: o CPA certification or equivalent Competencies: o Strong financial management and budgeting skills o Expertise in internal controls, risk management, and financial reporting standards o Cash flow management and treasury expertise o Leadership skills with the ability to mentor and manage teams o Strong analytical, problem-solving, and collaboration skills o Deep understanding of UAE tax regulations and compliance o Proven ability to manage audits and financial reviews o Experience driving process improvements in financial practices
