The CompanyRobert Half are working with a world leader in their field to recruit a Finance Manager - MENA.The RoleReporting directly into the Middle East General Manager you will Oversee a team of 15 employees spanning the MEA region, headquartered in Dubai, UAE, with branches in Qatar, KSA, and Morocco, as well as a subsidiary in Egypt. Alongside Finance you will supervise procurement in collaboration with the existing Finance and Procurement Team Leader.
Providing leadership and guidance to the Finance and Procurement teams, fostering a culture of mentorship and growth.
Strategically aligning with business objectives, suggesting innovative approaches, policies, and procedures to enhance productivity and bolster Finance support.
Managing day-to-day workflows efficiently.
Development and maintenance of an internal approval system.
Directing the preparation of financial statements and stakeholder reports, conducting thorough financial analyses, and offering strategic recommendations to senior management.
Developing and executing financial strategies that support business expansion and facilitate collaboration with our partners. Supervising financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and risk management activities.
Evaluation of indirect costs and identification of opportunities for cost reduction.
Demonstrating expertise in financial reporting and cash flow management, while identifying and proposing new financial models to bolster business divisions.
Analysis of cash flow issues and formulation of management strategies for improvement.
Collaboration with divisions to enhance Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) related to Inventory, Accounts Receivable (AR), and Accounts Payable (AP) and CCC (Cash Conversion Cycle) in return. Staying abreast of industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes in Finance, Procurement and Tax law.
Ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local accounting/tax laws and regulations, while recommending and implementing best practices. This includes coordinating internal and external audits.
Management of finance operations for cross-border transactions.
Facilitation of smooth international transactions.
Provision of support to end-users and business partners in implementing international financial schemes.
Possessing a solid understanding of recent corporate tax laws in the UAE, with desirable knowledge of tax regulations in KSA and Egypt.
The Candidate
Bachelor\'s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field
Professional Finance certification (ACCA/CIMA or equivalent)
Minimum of 6 years of experience in Finance or related role (e.g. Tax Specialist), preferably in a: Diverse/multi-cultural business industry (obtained from medium to large organisation)
