This role will lead the tax and compliance function which, with the support of finance operations team and corporate tax advisory team, will ensure tax compliance of all ME&A entities, manage tax submissions, planning & budgeting including transfer pricing requirements. It is expected that the role will include but not be limited to the following key functions:\xc2\xb7 Lead the tax regulatory compliance across the ME&A region, including timely filing of accurate tax and related returns (income tax, WHT, VAT, Country-by-Country reporting, Transfer Pricing submissions etc);\xc2\xb7 Manage tax assessments, audits and inspections, and own the relationship with internal and external tax consultants;\xc2\xb7 Lead the design and implementation of processes surrounding tax compliance, maintaining robust reconciliations and documentation to satisfy tax and finance regulatory requirements;\xc2\xb7 Provide advice to the finance and non-finance business operations on tax-related queries and implications for new and ongoing client/supplier projects;\xc2\xb7 Manage monthly, quarterly and annual reporting of tax numbers to corporate teams internally, and periodic tax budgeting/forecasting for internal reporting;\xc2\xb7 Support the Director of Finance Controllership on ad-hoc initiatives and analysis;\xc2\xb7 Develop strong working relationships with team members and other key stakeholders;\xc2\xb7 Manage subordinates ensuring their career development and coaching.Technical CompetenciesEssential:\xc2\xb7 Fully Qualified ACCA/CIMA/ACA/CPA or other recognised Accounting qualification;\xc2\xb7 Minimum 5 years post-qualification experience, preferably in the ME&A region, with experience of working in a tax & compliance lead role for a construction/engineering consultancy organisation;\xc2\xb7 Sound knowledge of ME&A tax regulations and requirements;\xc2\xb7 Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
