: Finance Manager
Our company is seeking a Finance Manager who will be responsible for overseeing and managing all financial activities within the academy. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong financial acumen and the ability to manage complex financial tasks, ensuring profitability and sustainability while supporting the academy's mission and growth. The Finance Manager will work closely with the management team to streamline financial operations, reporting, and forecasting, and ensure compliance with UAE financial regulations
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Planning & Analysis: Develop and implement financial plans, budgets, and forecasts for the academy, aligning them with the academy's goals and objectives.
Financial Reporting: Prepare and present regular financial statements (income statement, balance sheet, cash flow) for senior management, offering insights into performance and identifying areas for improvement.
Cost Management & Control: Monitor and manage the academy's expenses, ensuring efficient use of resources. Identify opportunities to reduce costs while maintaining or improving service quality.
Cash Flow Management: Oversee cash flow to ensure there is adequate liquidity to meet the operational needs of the academy and its future growth plans.
Taxation & Compliance: Ensure adherence to UAE tax laws and regulations, including VAT and other applicable taxes. Prepare and manage tax filings and liaise with external auditors as necessary.
Accounting Systems & ERP: Implement and manage financial systems, tools, and processes to streamline accounting operations, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
Payroll & Compensation Management: Oversee payroll processing for staff, coaches, and other personnel, ensuring timely and accurate payment and compliance with labor laws.
Financial Strategy & Investment: Support decision-making related to capital expenditures, investments, and strategic financial planning, including evaluating potential revenue streams such as tournaments, memberships, and sponsorships.
Risk Management: Identify and assess financial risks and implement effective mitigation strategies.
Fundraising & Partnerships: Work with the marketing and business development teams to support funding initiatives, sponsorships, and partnerships that align with the academy's objectives.
Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor junior finance and admin staff, ensuring their professional development and maintaining a high standard of performance and accuracy.
Stakeholder Communication: Regularly communicate with the management team, coaches, staff, sponsors, and external financial partners to keep them informed about the academy's financial health and any relevant changes.
