Job description:
1. Maintain and update general ledger accounts for tax, financial reporting, and monthly and yearly closing activities.
2. Prepare and post journal entries, ensuring accurate and timely recording and reconciliation of financial transactions.
3. Reconcile accounts payable and receivable ledgers to ensure accuracy and completeness.
4. Review disbursements, bank and credit card transactions, and balance sheet reconciliations
5. Manage cash flow by processing supplier invoices, employee expense reports, and intercompany charges.
6. Ensure timely vendor payments and manage payment schedules for bank and cash.
7. Generate and send customer invoices, and monitor and follow up on outstanding receivables.
8. Ensure proper and complete substantiation of documents for all financial transactions including tax returns
9. Ensure accuracy and timely submission of financial statements, VAT return, Corporate tax return, management reports and other financial disclosures for each entity
10. Ensure compliance with UAE financial regulations, accounting principles, and tax laws for each entity.
11. Work closely with operations to optimize financial performance
12. Cross-team communication with logistics, warehouse, and sales teams to ensure smooth transaction flow
13. Ensure day to day accounting is complete ensuring appropriate checks, internal/external reconciliations/confirmations and required documentation and approvals.
14. Payroll check calculation of monthly salaries and gratuity/leave pay/airfare
15. knowledge of Accounting Principles and Knowledge with Logistics experience / Import-Export / Customs clearance/ VAT / Bank Transactions
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: AED7,000.00 - AED13,000.00 per month
